Earrings Are Huge for Summer. How to Get FAB Earrings For Less!
Spring & summer are around the corner. It’s all about having the right look but breaking the bank— particularly in this economy— is NOT where it’s at.
If you have money to burn, go ahead , but why burn it when you can get some great edgy stuff and end up splurging on other things like spa treatments or a killer hair cut at a premium salon?
I have been on the hunt for some earrings that were similar to styles seen in Marie Claire, Elle, Allure and InStyle. Some styles that I liked were in the Nordstrom catalog— but the $200 + price tag made me wonder just how much I wanted them.
No matter what your budget, here are a few earrings that can really rev up your style quotient and give your cool little dress or hot top a little more sizzle.
Wire Leaf Earrings in gold or silver — Sweet huh!
Polished Mesh Earrings (in silver or gold) — these are so much like ones I have seen in magazines
Diamond Chain Earrings are killer in their shape and that they create an interesting look. The mesh is flexible. Avaialble in silver or gold.
Wire Wrapped Oval Hoops. These are my favorites!! I love the look and I can’t tell you how pricey these are in specialty stores like Saks. These are a bit heavy but they are wrapped and they are similar to some seen on celebrities. Available in gold or silver.
Oh I bet you are wondering how much these are. $5.00 or less. Yes— that’s right. Five dollars and less!! I ordered them online at Forever21.com and bought three of the four styles and with delivery and tax it was under $25.00.
Now it’s up to YOU to guess which ones I bought. I love them. My friends are shocked at how great they are and how gorge they are too. You do have to cautious on what stuff you are wearing with it because they are big earrings— statement pieces, so softer, demure necklaces that are thin (think long, thin chains) or a higher necked top would be an ideal partner.
So you can dress well and not spend a fortune. You just need to know where to look
