It was an interesting invitation to be invited to an celebratory party for GM's launch of the redesigned 2011 Buick Regal. at the iconic and refurbished Hollywood Palladium!

This was a really great event that was geared more towards consumers than dealers and guests were able to check out the Buick LaCrosse

as well as the 4-wheel drive Enclave which both cars were getting lots of attention from guests.

While waiting for the "special" moment, guests were treated to fabulous fare courtesy of Wolfgang Puck. The invite had said appetizers or snacks.. but this was a full buffet of appetizers and main course options and a killer dessert buffet that left me reeling with chocolate frenzy. The bar featured some of the best brands including my fave Cruzan Rum which I had a really great Mojito (ps. look for a post about Cruzan Rum)

2011 Buick Regal Revealed..

This sleek almost sexy car drew lots of oohs and ahs when it was finally unveiled.

After the Regal, guests were treated to some great music courtesy of Colbie Caillet, a great singer and she had the audience-- particularly the guys enthralled. She was in a smokin' haute dress (I have been looking for one like that)

One of the songs Colbie did. Sorry the photography isn't the best but given the lighting situation, this was the best I could do. There was no way I could get to center stage.. but then you see all the cute guys in the band!!
