Barbie and Ken —TOGETHER AGAIN!!

You know they split up. Wonder what — or WHO — brought them together again? Call me stupid or blame it on Cupid but truly, Fashion Designer ZAC POSEN brought these two back together and the love that lasted for eons seems to have been rekindled— courtesy of a designer duds, accessories and a Platinum Label!

Dolling up Barbie and Ken in his own atelier, Zac Posen created an extraordinary Barbie and Ken gift set. Inspired by his sister/muse/creative partner, Alexandra, Barbie now sports true fashionista style with a violet blue pleated china blue gown worn belted and she wears a golden arm band along with Zac’s best bag— the Beatrice. Her hair is a gorge auburn (can we say she took a page from Cameron Diaz’s book?) and elegant makeup

Ken is no slouch and he was designed by the master — Zac Posen — in casual chic jeans, crisp white pin-tucked tuxedo shirt and silk shantung jacket. Ken’s hair is also dark (so dashing KEN!) and a sophisticated complement to Barbie’s new look.

Accessories include all the things a designer needs include bolts of fabric, sewing notions, and a bulletin board full in inspiration. The final accessory? A dog— modeled after Zac’s own pooch, Tina!
