Jennifer Lawrence has been piquing the interest of the fashion crowd lately, thanks to a slew of stylish moments on the streets of New York City showing the actress seemingly embracing the “quiet luxury” trend: gone are her denim overalls and sneakers, replaced by chic monochromatic looks and stealth wealth labels like The Row.
So it only makes sense that a rare red-carpet moment by the 32-year-old would grab attention, especially given her history of favoring eye-catching and ethereal gowns when attending industry events.
Would Lawrence opt for something different to her usual attire?
The answer is yes.
In lieu of puffy gowns and printed fabrics, Lawrence reached for a little black dress: the epitome of chic!
Wearing a velvet minidress by Versace that features a cinched waist and exaggerated skirt and shoulders, Lawrence looked the perfect mix of sophisticated and sexy.
