Feast and dance the end-of-year away at Los Feliz’s very own contemporary-Mexican restaurant, Encanto. With a focus on La Cocina Mexicana, Encanto will offer its classic menu offerings A La Carte such as the Whole Branzino ($44)  a butterflied and de-boned Mediterranean sea bass rubbed in toasted chili-citrus flavorsthyme and mole verde; and Sherry-Marinated Skirt Steak ($44) dry-aged for 45 days and charred to the perfection of medium rare, served with smashed and fried fingerling potatoes and salsa macha. Don’t forget to accompany the delectable plates with sides such as Rancho Gordo Frijoles ($12) made with burnt black garlic puree and fermented fresno sauce; or the popular Mexican Street Corn ($9) drizzled with balsamic and served with a manchego dip. Executive Chef Rudy Lopez has created an unforgettable meal to close 2022 with a multi-course menu of new specials alongside Soulmate favorites. The first seating at 5:30 p.m. is $125 per person and includes a five-course dinner with one’s choice of tapas such as Chef’s Salmon Crudo, Burrata Crostini, Steak Tartare, Croquettes, and more. Next, dive into a one-night-only special of Arroz Cremoso with Black Truffles and Roasted Pear Tart for dessert. Gracias Madre’s beautiful, bright and airy space in West Hollywood will transform into an unforgettable New Year’s Eve party filled with dancing in the moonlight starting with a DJ from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., imaginative plant-based dishes, photo booth, and a celebratory champagne toast to ring in the new year.
