What a Girl Wants, What a Girl Needs: Uber-Versatile Lindsay Phillips Ballet Flats!
Lindsay Pihllips is the firecracker inspiration and driving force behind SwitchFlops. Her footwear concept evolved from a high school art project that featured uniquely designe flip-flops. She transformed that concept functional flops with colorful straps, each adorned by a unique button. Her idea evolved when she realized that by using Velcro she could create one shoe with many straps-unlimited choices with minimal effort. This simple, yet brilliant innovation was the birth of SwitchFlops. Lindsay applied for a patent on her idea before she graduated high school.
Taking it a step further, Lindsay has now applied this same "switch it out" concept to ballet flats-- and wow is this ever the best news to happen to flats.

Here's what's so great about these flats
1) they are comfortable shoes. That might seem like a dumb statement, but not all flats are comfortable-- and these flats don't gap, they hug your foot nicely.Genuine Napa leather flats feature a signature flower snap.

2) You can choose any kind of ornament from mild (debbie or rosie)

Rosie is a black resin beaded ornament. Decadent Collection.
to wild

like Robin's glitzy glam bejeweled theme.
3) The different ornaments are very affordable at about $12 each-- and think about how else you could wear them (brooch, in your hair, attached to a bag)

An array of the ornaments that I have!!
Here are the bronze flats with two different ornaments-- I LOVE these shoes.

They rock my world-- from the skinny jeans to the shorts to skirts and dresses. Now I can walk easily in NYC (and I don't LIVE in NYC).. and I can wear them driving and go to events with the sweetest little flats around-- that have my personality and style to them.
