NYFW: MAC Makes Preen Stand Out for Fall 2010! Nancy Gives You the Breakdown!
Nancy Lichtenstein gives us the scoop on what's cooking for Fall -- but accordiing to Nancy *(and I concur) this look for Preen could be a year-round look for anyone!
It may have been Fall 2010 at New York Fashion Week but this soft pastel look that James Kaliardos of MAC did for Preen is perfect for early spring:
James applied Studio Moisturecover Concealer as foundation to the T-zone, set it with Blot Powder and then contoured the cheeks and temples with Mineralize Skinfinish in Natural.
Next he created a futuristic but soft and shimmery eye with Pink Freeze, Beautiful Iris, and Quite Spoiled (coming Fall 2010) shadows.
Notehave a sheen to it!Finally, he finished the lips with MAC Pro Cream Colour Base in Pink. If, like Stevie and me, your lips are highly pigmented naturally and you want to imitate this, put a little liquid foundation on your lips first to "white out" the canvas.

Thanks to Nancy for her great breakdown and directions. Suggestion on the paler lips, take a pinky-peach nude lipstick or the lighter tones from MAC or others that have a shine, shimmer or a gleam (note I didn't say glitter or gloss) and slick them over your lips. I have specific suggestions but unfortunately I am not current with MAC's paler lip colors.
