Music Bytes: Mike Vitale Gives You a Musical Snapshot of the SeesSaw Nature of Relationships`
I have known Mike Vitale for quite a while. Not too long ago he played uber-locally to me and I dragged the SO to this great restaurant & bar just to hear Mike sing-- and so I could snag some 'catch-up" time with him. Should have podcasted it but then again, there were tons of people around and the noise level would have drowned him out. (should have tried anyways!)

We talked about his upcoming album and I have been sneaking listens (and repeat listens) to this music and digging the depth of his musical evolution.
Here's a sampler of a new song he decided to share: Recess
I have both of Mike Vitale's EP sand have listened to the first one at least a 100 times (with only 4-5 songs, that's a lot of listening of the same tracks and have been able to mine the emotional core of each song) .
With the advent of his full-length CD and his unique sound-- part reggae, a pinch of emo, kickin' rock and lots more, there's reason to follow Vitale and his career. He plays the OC (Orange County for those who don't get the So. Cal lingo).. a great deal but is moving across to LA County.
Digging his tunes isn't hard. It's hard when you aren't listening to them- because they have haunting qualities that sort of sneak up on you.
