The Cure for the Spoiled Rotten Teenager--Courtesy of GMA!

We all have seen the Gossip Girls and seen movies like Mean Girls but do you think they really exist? Do you know that they are in your life -- or sphere of contacts in your world? Actually you do, and I do too.

Tracey Jackson and Taylor Templeton

This story appeared on Good Morning America and while I missed it today, I did catch this entire video and it's worth watching.

The questions and comments on the post are hugely diverse and about applauding the mother and daughter and others crucifying mother, daughter and also GMA for running this piece because they commented that there were places within the US or closer to home (Haiti or Louisiana -- i.e., Katrina) that needed help and could use assistance and the awareness of the documentary that Tracey Jackson had shot while her daughter Taylor was working in India as a punishment to teach her what life was all about.
The question is who really benefited from this film/documentary and news segment: Tracey Jackson's film? How about GMA? And what about Taylor Jackson whose father seems to be totally absent from her life (what's up with that?) and why does she still seem to be a bit of a spoiled rich girl. Gossip girls really do live and breathe and aren't necessarily a figment of a screenwriter's imagination.Art imitating life that surprising is reality.

Comments welcome!!
