Nia's Only

This ring was exciting to make, it was my first time working with 14KT White Gold and diamonds, sapphires and rubies. I worked very closely with Nia's boyfriend, Mike to design the perfect ring for her. I knew Nia was Greek, so white diamonds and blue sapphires were perfect. However, I also wanted to incorporate her boyfriend into the ring. His birthstone is ruby but the red would have ruined the color scheme. Instead of outside, I came up with the idea of placing a ruby inside the band.

This simple, tiny design concept created a new level of intimacy in the ring. Nia knows it's there because the ruby is always touching her whenever she wears it. This ring was made a few weeks before I left Boston. This ring was made with over 1/2 oz. of 14KT white gold with 5 GIA Certified white diamonds, 2 blue sapphires and a single ruby.
This ring would cost approximately $2,500,depending on the stones used in the design.
