Leighton Meester's real life seems to be as fabulous as her party-hopping, jet setting "Gossip Girls" television character Blair Waldorf, when she attended the NYC Metropolitan Opera opening gala, one of the key social events of the seasoin.

The opening featured a performance of La Fille du Régiment. Ms. Meester was wearing a fabulous collection of Van Cleef & Arpels to compliment her chartreuse Yves Saint Laurent cocktail dress.
The collection from the fabled French jeweler included:
* a pair of Folie des Pres earrings with yellow and green sapphires and diamonds,
*a Snowflake diamond bracelet totaling 25 carats
and
* a Ludo Pampille watch in yellow gold with diamond tassels.

Sounds delicious wonderful to me. What a great evening wearing Yves Saint Laurent and Van Cleef & Arpels. Heaven on earth really does occur.
