A la the Disney commercials, where does a celebrity go to decompress after winning a Golden Globe, Emmy, an Oscar, or any award? Typically it's NOT the big D (sorry Walt & Co. this isn't a commercial for you!)

Feteafete.com blogger Tami went on a recent get-away weekend to the Kenwood Inn in the wine country of California.

Typically NOT the jealous type, after hearing about this on the phone and then reading the blog, I am now pea-green (or would that be grape leaf green?) with envy. I am not posting all the photos that Tami has on her blog-- you need to read that blog to see them.

However I was privy to the descriptions of the luxurious rooms and the fabulous spa at the inn which made me long for an extremely L O N G weekend in the wine country-- one preferably either using grapes on my skin or taking them internally.

What's not to love about a room with a bathtub like this? Or check out the spa treatments that Tami talks about in her blog. YUMMMY-- and I know they are because I have had them down here in LA!!

If the spa doesn't do it for you, then the food will, because it's incredible along with the wines from Kenwood. What's not to love?

So if you want someplace romantic or indulgent and don't want to fly to Europe, try Northern California, Make a stop in Oakland, rent a car and drive the freeways and back roads to Kenwood Inn & Spa in Sonoma. Heaven on earth never felt-- or tasted-- so good.

Celebrities do hide out here when they want that special treatment without going too far afield.
