Disney Dreams: Hitting the Land of a Million Dreams !
Disneyland for me has always been a place where I can set aside being the *adult* and just return to being a child (except when it comes to shopping and fashion policiing. Lots of the former, none of the latter in this post. Why? Because this was a vacation--honestly, the only thing I wanted to do was be away from the computer though I did twitter often enough!)
So this is a bit of a photo and tweet travelogue of what I did, saw and some commentary about what I ate -- or drank!
The building/restaurant across from the Jazz Kitchen. FYI, the Jazz Kitchen really does have jazz musicians in the evenings on weekends. Given that this particular weekend was the one for the Disney Marathon, we checked out before the marathoners showed up.
Heading past Downtown Disney-- and several stores that I vowed (*and did) visit later on, we headed into Disneyland and here are some snaps of places-- and things -- seen along the way. Surprisingly uncrowded, we made a point to hit the places we don't usually stop.

We did wind up on Pirates of the Caribbean ride, took all of about 10 minutes to get to the actual ride and another 3 minutes to get a first row in the boat so that we could get "first splash" going over the 2 waterfalls. (nice since it was so hot)
