If you are a regular reader of this blog or are a fan of The Kin (Thorald & Isaac Koren)-- or both-- you will know who they are: Austrailian brothers who hit NY like a ton of bricks with their indie/alt vibe that goes beyond that genre into something unique and very philosophical as well as intelligent. This is music taken to the next level-- and maybe even further. Having written about them in over 18 posts including podcasts, videos and personal discussions, this band hits my "must-see" list.

They are here in town working out of 4 venues (one is invitation only however-- sigh!). The Kin will be previewing some of the newest material (new CD is coming entitled 'The Kin: Rondo Sessions'. ) so you don't want to miss this chance to catch The Kin on this quick hit through LA and maybe catch them in a couple of venues-- particularly nice for Sunday, Monday and Wednesday!
