This at-home whitening kit includes everything you need to get up to 6 shades whiter in 1 hour. After reading all the directions and getting the device assembled, make sure you read the instructions. It's a tight fit for the batteries and so it might takes you a bit to get them all in there. Also getting the light to turn on easily is a trick so make sure you don't look at the light when you are doing that (not so great for the eyes). Shine it down into the sink or counter to see if it's on. If it's not glowing, check the batteries installation.

This treatment works in about 2 minute increments. First you rinse your mouth with the included Accelerator Mouth Rinse, then carefully brush on the whitening gel on each tooth you want whitened. Note that this device won't hit the teeth in the back so don't try and use it there. Make sure each tooth is dry when you apply the gel. Smile big, pulling your lips back from your teeth so that you don't get the gel on your lips or the mucus membrane of your mouth. After painting the gel on each tooth, allow the gel to dry for about 20 seconds. After you have applied the gel to the teeth surfaces and the crevices in between teeth, place the device in front of your teeth, wrapping your lips around the device. Make sure you watch a clock or timer so that you don't lose any time by pulling this out of your mouth. Two minutes might not seem long but it can be.

Each time you want to do another 2 minute treatment, you must go through this 3-step process each time (rinse, brush gel on, and apply the light).

I used it and found that it worked nicely once I got the hang of it. However holding the device for 6 x 2 minute segments gets old so maybe you might want to do this over 2-3 days if you get bored. Try watching TV and don't bend your head down while doing this because any saliva might drip out (note the word might).

I have pretty white teeth and I found it was as effective in 6 treatments as my DDS teeth whitening trays and the gel wasn't as sensitiziing which is good for those with sensitive gums or teeth.The mouthwash is helpful too and it keeps your teeth white and helps spur on the whitening process hence trying to do this over a couple of days might see this be an easier trick.
