Atelier Cologne Absolue's fourth scent is Trefle Pur and it's really a bit of step outside their other fragrances in their initial collection.

A landscape of vitality; surrounds violet leaves in green woods, freshly cut grass and dewy earth.

"He had a good feeling about it. That's the thing about luck, you feel it or you don't. This moment, he felt it. He found the morning's rain had left everything looking greener and a bit sharper, like he was seeing it all for the first time, and he headed off with a spring in his step."

Cologne Absolue concentrated at 18%.
Top notes: bitter orange, cardamon, basilic
Heart notes: clover absolute, violet leaves, Tunisian neroli
Base notes: patchouli moss, musk

Trefle Pur

As you watch the video, it's clear that this is Christophe's personal scent and it's a touch more masculine in feel-- but don't let that scare you ladies from trying it. Within the context of these videos-which took about 90 minutes to shoot because we talked in between them, it was really interesting to learn how these two people juggle their work which is also their passion, their family and their marriage. It's rather remarkable to be able to align all those elements of your life and then get your first collection into Neiman-Marcus.

Both Sylvie and Christophe has a unique history of creating fragrances and we talked a lot about other scents that we liked or didn't like or what went wrong with a launch of a specific scent. We had a discussion about a scent that I adore from many years ago that I keep carefully tucked away and we talked about why that particular fragrance didn't do well-- which was a shame because it was amazing in the presentation. It was an easy interview--and lots of fun! I learned a lot about their collection and how much that collection reflects parts of their personalities.
