12 Drinks of Christmas: Reaching Up to Heaven with Seven Heavenly Chards

Since the Seven Deadly Zins have been featured during this holiday season, now's the time to turn our eyes towards the heavens and reach for the Seven Heavenly Chards. From the Michael David Family of Wines, the Seven Heavenly Chards is worth checking out.
The two brothers thought about redemption after Seven Deadly Zins but instead took to creating a heavenly chardonnay that is a kin to the Zinfandel . This Chardonnay was aged in Seven different French barrels for Seven months. Thus Mike and Dave have been redeemed!

Heavenly Chards of an angelic line,
Each with a task, simply divine.

Chardonnays Justice, balanced and true,
Resurgence of light, life brought anew.

Chardonnays Temperance, patient and mild,
Riding the storms and taming the wilds.

Chardonnays Prudence, cautious and wise,
Embracing the earth, arms to the skies.

Chardonnays Faith, the intangible shield,
Solid as stone, refusing to yield.

Chardonnays Endurance, the river within,
Rising to flow, again and again.

Chardonnays Hope, a spark to ignite,
An unquenchable flame, a beacon of light.

Chardonnays Love, reigning supreme,
Uniting them all in this heavenly dream.

Said to have flavors much like black cherries, ripe plum, black currant and sweet oak, with an accent of granite (or a stone type body), it is a fuller wine that is soft on the palate with fruity aromas (raspberry, black currant and black cherry) with soft vanilla. Its' lush texture is firm in tannins.

Greater for lighter meals or to take a heavier dish and give it a fresher, lighter counterpoint, this chardonnay is unique and different.
