Chocolate Italian Style: Amedei Toscano
When someone says the word "chocolate", Italy is not what you are usually thinking about. Typically you think of Switzerland, France, Belgium even very niche brands of US chocolatiers.
However the Italians should not be ignored as Feteafete.com's Tami talks about Amedei Toscano-- the Tuscan chocolate company, Amedei is a cult favorite and you have to *search* to find it and then when you do, don't be a silly goose and buy one. Buy at least 2 of every thing--except if you decide to buy the collection boxes--then you will be very busy. (chocolate everywhere!).

The company produces bewitching chocolate bars, many of which has garnered numerous awards. It also helps that they source the best beans in the world, beating out many other venerable chocolate artisans.
What's really interesting here -- and you need to read Tami's blog + read some of the information on the Amedei website for all the scoop on how the chocolate is created (well maybe not *all*) and how each collection, bar and flavor is created.

Gosh, this chocolate looks very fancy indeed. I suppose the taste won't be too bad.
If I may share my thoughts on Amedei, I'd say it is simply the best chocolate I have ever tried. I'd need to try all chocolates on planet Earth to state that Amedei is the best chocolate in the world but i am sure it is not far from that position anyway.
I did try many gourmet chocolate brands as part of my yummy position as VP Sales of a luxury chocolate company located in Soho Manhattan.
Amedei.com does not seem to sell any of their good stuff to the US customers but www.savorique.com does offer a gorgeous selection of Amedei gift boxes, which are perfect as Christmas gifts, which is only 2 months away!

Being an absolute chocolate enthusiast, Amedei Chocolate is definitely the tastiest chocolate out there, especially the Chuao Bar! It is very unfortunate that many do not know where to purchase Amedei Chocolate...
