From the Left Coast to Right Coast: NYFW From LA-Story.com

Courtesy of my friends in NYC area: Nancy Lichtenstein (Ten Pretty Girls ) returns along with commentary by stylist Patricia Mosley (one of my dearest friends and most honest people who will tell me if this is a fashion mistake) plus a couple of additional writers who will be introduced as their pieces hit the blog.

Rag and Bone is one line I tend to follow. I like the aesthete though not all of it works for me but I do like the menswear concept and they definitely had a collection this time that made sense to me. I wish I could see the entire collection and interview these two designers but when they mentioned the Joy Division and the movie Control, I totally got their mindset -- because I had seen and reviewed that movie. Not only did I see/review it, I talked to someone else who felt that Joy Division was a huge influence on many bands and musical genres-- Guy Forsyth whose podcast and videos are forthcoming.
However we are saving those so that they don't compete with NYFW.

Here's the Rag and Bone video from NEW YORK Magazine.

It's an interesting look and on the spot interview courtesy of New York Magazine.
