Missed Valentine's Day? Seek Solace in Signature David's Creative Cocktails-- BAD ROMANCE!!!

We *heart* Signature David's David Brogan for his amazing creativity. He's a genius at creating cocktails. and you can find a lot of what he's doing on his site
www.signaturedavid.com and on his blog-- entitled Shake It Up by Signature David!!

In case you missed Valentine's Day-- because you had no one to celebrate it with or someone forgot, here's a great drink in which to drown your sorrows.

Bad Romance ( no relation to Lady Gaga but definitely a good idea)

Fill a rocks glass with ice and combine
2 oz of Patron Cafe Tequila and
1 oz of Frangelica hazelnut liqueur.
Stir lightly.
Pour 1 1/2 oz of White Godiva liqueur over ice in a cocktail shaker and shake until frothy.
Strain contents over the bottom side of a spoon onto the inside rim of the glass. Garnish with chocolate shavings.

In case you had a great Valentine's Day or want to keep the celebration going over President's Day-- ok maybe not everyone has it off, but some do.

Cupid's Arrow!
Mull 3 to 4 large fresh strawberries in a cocktail shaker.
Add crushed ice to the shaker and combine
1 1/2 oz of lemon vodka,
a hefty splash of Cointreau and
1 1/2 oz cranberry juice.
Shake vigorously and strain ingredients into a well-chilled martini glass.
Drizzle Chambord through the center the cocktail creating a secondary layer at the bottom.
Slice a strawberry on the bias and skewer on a metal pick and lay it on the top of the cocktail.

Both sound delish and definitely worth a try. Once the get a shaker, you will find it's easier, less expensive and faster to make cocktails at home!
