It’s not every day that I get a chance to meet top-notch, celebrity level hair stylist, Oribe (pronounced Or-Bay) whose work is seen on the cover of major fashion and beauty magazines as well as the red carpet so when the invitation came to attend a pro-hair stylist event at the Argyle Spa at the Sunset Towers, I jumped and snagged a friend ( Y, for those of you who read this blog) and off we ran to the Sunset Towers— even got there early enough to have a drink at their wonderful bar— but more about that later.

We wound our way around to the Argyle Spa & Salon and found the pro-seminar/demo already in progress with Oribe showing this roomful of avid hair stylists what can be done with hair and demonstrating not only his line but he went full out and got super creative with people’s hair including extensions and all kinds of editorial styling.

Here are 3 of the 4 looks he created on some of the seminar participants. Wild and fun and immensely creative, Oribe is really accessible. He’s open to questions, talking and exceptionally friendly. He wants everyone to look fabulous and be glam.
