Nancy Lichtenstein gives us her take on Ports 1961 show for NYFW Fall 2010.

With all eyes on Vancouver due to the Winter Olympics, it may be Ports 1961 designer Tia Cibani (a Vancouver native)'s turn to shine, and shine is just what was in evidence at her Fall 2010 show this past week.

Check out this video from Dailymotion that shows the touches of futuristic glitz added to Cibani's usual ladylike silhouette (and includes commentary from Whitney Port, who is a devotee of Ports 1961, although gossip from the show points out that she was seated in the second row while Olivia Palermo made it to the front).

Some of the looks are even accessorized with stylish duck boots that would be right at home at the Winter Olympics.
